Description

Built in 2022, BLUE JAY is a 54-foot catamaran that combines the steadiness and generous deck space of twin hulls, and is based at Nassau, Palm Cay Marina in New Providence, Bahamas. Inside, the layout offers 8 private cabins, 6 bathrooms, and sleeping space for up to 14 guests.

She measures 54 ft in length overall, with a 29-foot beam and a 5-foot draft, giving her a shallow profile that can access coves and anchorages beyond the reach of larger yachts. Twin 80-hp engines deliver auxiliary power and the close-quarters handling catamarans are known for in busy marinas. Equipment onboard includes a GPS chart plotter and autopilot, bimini and sprayhood for cockpit comfort, full safety gear with liferaft and VHF, plus a dinghy with outboard for getting ashore.

Nassau, Palm Cay Marina makes an excellent base for Bahamas cruising, with the Exumas, Abacos, and Berry Islands all reachable within a standard week-long itinerary.
