The Kalea measures 40' LOA with a 23' beam and a 5' draft. That shallow draft is especially helpful when moving into shallow harbors and reef-protected anchorages. Auxiliary power: 2 × 30 hp, which is useful for docking, light-wind days, and short transits. Notable equipment includes autopilot and chart plotter and electric winches.
