Fairy measures 50 feet in length overall, with a beam of 17 feet and a draft of 7 feet, giving her a well-balanced profile for both coastal cruising and longer offshore passages. Auxiliary power is provided by a 110-hp inboard engine, useful for harbor maneuvering and for motoring through calm stretches when the wind drops.

On board, the equipment includes a GPS chart plotter and autopilot for navigation, plus cockpit comfort features such as a bimini and sprayhood. A dinghy with outboard is also available for trips ashore. Athens, Alimos marina is the starting point for exploring the Greek islands, where itineraries are influenced by the meltemi winds and the surrounding archipelago.
