Maroussa measures 45 feet in length overall, with a beam of 15 feet and a draft of 7 feet, giving her a practical profile for both coastal cruising and longer offshore passages. Propulsion is provided by a 75-hp inboard engine, useful for harbor maneuvering and for motoring when the wind drops.

Aboard, the equipment includes a GPS chart plotter and autopilot for navigation, plus cockpit protection from a bimini and sprayhood.
